I’ve had one like this for years, ( and paid a lot more) for it, it stopped working so I gave this a try, it came with the battery installed and an extra, works great, it’s seems as well made as the one I had, and cost much less, so for me I’m very pleased.

Got these to have on hand for instances where tiny measurements were needed and our stick rulers and retractable measuring tapes weren't the most effective tools. It took a while to arrive but it was nice that it came in its own thin plastic case along with an extra coin battery. There's a power button, a button to tare, and a button to switch between metric and standard/imperial. There is a fine adjustment dial that makes moving the caliper in small increments easy to do. I can't vouch for how accurate this device is, but it'll work for our household's intended purposes -- we aren't doing anything that requires many degrees of accuracy so we are satisfied with the small amount of error that's likely built in. Other than that, the materials feel alright. Not cheap but you can tell it's not the most amazing quality. The parts don't move very easily when not using the fine adjustment dial, but something you can probably fix with a little lubricant.
