Habe den Messschieber nur gekauft um zuhause schnell mal ein Bohrer Durchmesser zu Messen und Digital auch nur damit meine Freundin auch präzise ablesen kann ;)Ich war verwundert das der scheinbar sehr genau ist und habe ihn mit zur arbeit genommen und mal auf Herz und Nieren geprüft. Sowohl die Fühlerlehren als auch das Kalibrierplätchen (Professionell) wurden super genau gemessen, Skala UND Digital!Für den Preis echt unglaublich vorallem im vergleich zu den preisen bei unserem Werkzeuglieferanten.

The doors that hold the battery door on are microscopic and the so called screwdriver they provide has no tip — and this is a really bad combination. I bought two of these since they were reasonably priced and IP54 rated. One of they was working but the other had a dead battery. They provide a replacement so no problem. When I tried to remove the battery door, the screw driver would not bite very well but I got the screws out. When I went replace them, I realized a fraction of a second too late that the crummy screwdriver had no tip and when I turned it to tighten, it skipped and the screw flew out to nowhere. I scanned the area with a magnet but it is gone. I have no source for something that small. The one screw holds the door but just barely. I now have a non-IP-54 caliper. Given a choice, I would choose a different product.

I was on my third $19 Harbor Freight Tools digital caliper in as many years when I decided to spend a few dollars more and buy this one from Amazon. Huge jump in build quality and consistency with this tool. My only gripe would be that the supplied carrying case is kind of crappy and I ended up keeping it in my old caliper’s case instead.

Mine came with a dead battery installed; perhaps that's why they give you a free battery, possible if product sits with the battery in ; it drains the battery !The screws holding the battery compartment shut - you can loose them extremely - easily _ caution there - they do not supply extra screws ! Good luck finding a replacement screw !Product is accurate, simple to use..
