After 1000 miles there's been minimal stretch. Did one adjustment after 100 miles and since then it's settled in real nice. Much quieter than the OEM chain that was on the bike before. Worth the extra money.

Summary: This is for my daily driver, 2007 CBR1000RR, with nearly 90,000 miles (yes!). The current chain being replaced was installed: 2016/07/17, 54761 miles, $125, RK XW-ring chain 116 cut to 114, rivet link. So nearly 35,000 miles on this one.Discussion: Here's the money saving tip. If you have a chain breaker, great! You can borrow from a friend or shop. Alternately you can use a grinder and cutting wheel to remove the extra links. My bike needs 114L, and the last time, I found a Warehouse deal for about $20 less, but it was a 116L vs. 114L. This time, I found a 120L for less than half the regular cost! Here is a breakdown of the available lengths and the related cost.114L = $163116L = $161118L = $171120L = $140Recommendations: Use Amazon's search engine, and look for Warehouse deals. I was not set on an RK, which is how I ended up with a D.I.D. this time, but any name brand chain would work. The best thing you can do for your chain is keep it clean and lubed.Pros: Highly reliable X/W/etc O-ring technology.Cons: Cost, but if you spread the cost for a $150 chain over five years, that's pennies on the mile. Conclusion: At full price, I'd rate this chain 4-stars (cost), but at any discounted price, 5-stars.Related Products:RK Racing Chain GB530GXW-116 (530 Series) Gold 116 Link High ~ $170https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WNROKY

I don't know why it doesn't say this more prominently somewhere, but #50 chain is the same as 530 chain and vice versa.DID chain is some of the highest quality chain around. This chain has already far exceeded my expectations. I used it to replace the ancient, worn out drive chains on my Pug F570 6x4. It is 146-147 links long on each side on the Pug, so you'll need to remove a few off this chain. Otherwise it's slightly too long and loose, even if you adjust the chain tensioner to the stop. Please note, this chain comes with a rivet style connecting link. Not the best to use if you will need to ever remove the chain again or you might make adjustments. I bought an RK racing o ring clip style master link off Amazon and it worked perfectly. Finally, one last note, be sure to buy this chain from Amazon directly. The first one I bought wasn't from Amazon and I received no chains and an empty box.
