Perfect! Just perfect! This is one of those sustainable "forever" pieces that your grandkids will someday aquire from your drawer. Just make sure to keep it out of the dishwasher! It hand washes extremely easily anyway.

This is the most used tool in my kitchen! I have always loved it! We spend a lot of money on chef knives and other things but the item I use the most every day is a simple spreader. Having a nice wood handle one like this that I use and LOVE for many years if more than worth the cost. If you love bread, bagels and sandwiches you it’s perfect. Also I love Dexter Russell products. Great quality and made in the USA.

If my husband could have a special kitchen utensil for every task, he'd have two. This was bought specifically as the mayo/butter/jelly spreader. Occasionally something else touches it, but those are the things my husband likes the most. It brings him an overwhelming amount of joy to use this perfect spreader. I think he likes it so much, he makes up reasons to use it, "I see you're making a bowl of cheerios, do you need the spreader?" This little tool has brought happiness to our home and I believe it will do the same for everyone. It really does the trick.

Nice kitchen spreader. I wanted to replace a classic, wooden handled spreader that I had for many years but finally broke when my wife used it to pry something up. I paid good money for two Dexter Russell S2493 1/2PCP Traditional spreaders but I'm glad I did. They have a nice, professional feel with rosewood handles and a quality spreader blade that is smooth, without any serrations. Much nicer than the less expensive, plastic handled variety.If you value the feel of a high quality tool in your hands, you'll like these.
