Very reliable hand drill, I use it for all jobs. Lightweight and tough, my only small issue is it sometimes too strong for the job I’m doing, which reflects me as the user vs the tool itself.

I really like this drill. Is easy to use, and very powerful. I used it for brick walls and worked great. I thought I was using it with the more powerful setting but I realized I didnt. So it might work even easier with the higher power setting.

These are fantastic, 12 volt little drills. They are light weight, powerful, and batteries last for 2 hrs on a charge. And because they are made by DeWalt, the quality and design are exceptional. I use them more than my 20 volt drills which are bigger and bulkier. Cannot buy better drills at this sale price. Thanks DeWalt.

I have an arsenal of Dewalt tools and this was all I expected. Doesn't take the place of my 20 volt drills but it is plenty powerful enough for most jobs.

This is a perfect little drill for people living in apartments or small spaces. Very low profile but strong and well made. Also comes with an excellent carrying bag and two batteries and a charger. Great all-in-one package at a competitive price.

Ok. So I decided I needed a small drill for the house because I was tired of going out to the shop all the time. When I got this, it was so tiny and cute compared to its big brother drills! But it works! Great for small projects and tight spaces!

I bought this drill after my previous Ridgid started having issues. This one is about 90% the size of that drill, therefore lighter, and all around much better for my lighter use. I'm not building a house. I'm hanging frames and shelves, or mounting TVs.It's a goldilocks size for most people, especially my fellow apartment dwellers, without being puny or weak. This thing does everything my previous full-size drill does, just easier and less taxing on my shoulders and wrists.

Bought this drill for the lighter weight, to use in my indoor hobby shop. There are lighter drills out there, but none match the power this drill delivers. The only gripe I have is that the batteries are only 2 amp hr. I think all power tools should come with at least 3 to 5 amp hr batteries. I'll edit this post when I use the drill a little longer, to gauge the time one gets out of a fully charged battery. I like the feel of this drill, and could see myself using this on more strenuous construction products. it also has a belt clip you can attach. The bag that comes with the tools is a nice little bag, and actually has room for a second tool, maybe the Dewalt 12v sawzall, which would use the same batteries. Anyone wanting a lighter weight drill should definitely consider this product.

I replaced a 10+ year old Dewalt drill with this one as the batteries were shot. I almost just replaced the batteries (with off-brand replacements since you can't get "real" ones anymore), but decided to get this drill instead.I love this one. It's about 2/3 the size of the old one, has a fabric case instead of the big rigid, plastic one I had, and is so much lighter and comfortable to use. And because the bag is flexible, I can store my drill bits and screw tips (etc.) in there so everything is all in one place, making it easy to "grab & go" when I need to fix something. It seems just as powerful, maybe even more.I've had it for a few months and only charged it once so the battery life seems excellent. I just use it to fix stuff around the house, so am not using it for a full-time job. But for my purposes, I can totally recommend this drill.
