This is an amazing drill. I am an electrician, and I used this to wire a house. I used to use the old Milwaukee corded right angle drill; this is way better. Highly recommend.

First bought a 5ah powerstack, had burn damage out of the box, now bought this crap and won't drill more than a hole without crapping out and having to wait hours before it will turn again? Figured I was undersized with the 5ah but same issue using their best battery the 9ah 60/20 v. Have wasted a lot of my time counting on things to work, and little if any assistance from Dewalt directly. They couldn't even provide help as to if my 2ah charger would charge a 5ah powerstack battery originally had to borrow a 5ah battery from a friend to confirm that the battery was delivered in non working order. I assume the newer model works with batteries.. dont waste your time with this one.

I’m a plumber and drill a lot of holes in new construction. It drills water pipe holes and up to 2” drains well. Once it gets to 3” holes it runs and just shuts off. Tried bigger batteries and making sure they were fully charged. Just not great with 3”

It is a bit underpowered. I was drilling some 2⅝" holes with a hole hawg bit and the drill was shutting off a few times, but then you could start it again and it would finish the hole. Not sure if it would be able to do 3 or 4 inch holes with a hole hawg bit.

Great power, only limited by batteries. Ran a 2" wood auger just fine. The right angle has saved me in some tight spots.
