I have used 3 of these on my wifes work vans. No issues to to report! They are a pain to change but not the parts fault!!

This steering rack seems to work just fine. I had some issues installing it due to a rusted out bolt that broke and other bolts that are difficult to access--but that is due to the design of the vehicle, not the part.

Piece of JUNK...DO NOT BUY. Purchased November 2019, leaking by October 2020. I called for warranty and they will not warranty because my old one was not sent in for core. Unless you dig at it there is no information on Amazon stating this needs to occur. So basically I'm left with a leaking rack and no warranty. Pay the extra money and buy it from autozone at least they will warranty with no hassle

I have a 2006 Town and Country and this rack and pinion along with the inner and outer tie rods was the best price and warranty on and off the internet. I've used them for another vehicle and spoke to many ppl and they all say Detroit Axle is a solid company with great products!!! I'm a woman and was complemented for knowing to use the best!!!

Not an easy install, but works great. Mine blew a seal and needed to be replaced. One tip, when you remove the boot from the steering shaft inside the vehicle, both fluid tubes can be accessed with a wrench through this hole. Much easier then dropping the main cradle. My van has over 200k miles, I cannot believe how this tightens the steering up. My van always drove straight down the road but far superior steering after replacing. As a bonus this does come with tie rod ends but you will need to purchase grease zerks for, mine did not come with them. I did need an alignment after this at a cost of $55
