The truth is I already bought a repaired one from this same company a long time ago but it only lasted two years. I don't know why, I hope they have repaired it much better because it is not possible that they will not last long.Although it is worth mentioning that these steering boxes are not lubricated like most of them, they are dry so it is assumed that they do not last. On the other hand, that time I had plastic ties and not metal ones haha, I'm sure they went too far that time, I hope it doesn't come anyway because it would be the last straw,

hopefully it works, I mean how hard is it to put the inner tie rods on the right sides of the rack and pinion...

The boot didn't last long . Plus driver side inner tie rod popped out . Everything fit. But just did last as long as I thought it should have

Direct and easy install in my wife's 2005 Chevy equinox. Never replaced a rack and pinion. Took me maybe about 2 hours, but I think that was because the bolts wouldn't come off the original too easily.

I was almost disappointed, taught i would not receive this item on time, i sent a text cancelling out, however, Detroit Axle made it possible, to my surprise i received this item before the delivery date. Now to the meat of the matter, i installed this Rack and Pinion by myself, very easy to install. just two bolts that attach the rack and pinion to the frame, another bolt attach the steering column to the rack and pinion, and make sure to loosen the two lower parallel link nut using a Allen key and a wrench,thereafter remove the old rack and pinion from the passenger side, just installed on this very day and drove fifty miles to test it out, listen you will not regret buy this item, almost for get I installed this item on my 2006 Saturn Vue.
