Let me start with the company was great. Packaging was good, they responded quickly to my question about trying to track my shipment, and did an excellent job adding detialed return instructions and instructions about returning your core if you chose too with premaid and paid for shipping labels. But these are remanded steering racks with extremely poor quality paint on them that rub chip flake and melt off with just handling before installation and in even in larger amounts while installing. There was over spray on the boots, gasket overhangs, the rods, the imput spline shaft, and they painted over the hydraulic line shipping caps witch flaked when removing. The imput shaft was free of rust and oxidation, but had very clear heavy wear and deep pitting from its previous life beyond what most woud certify as remanded. It seems to function fine, and I wouldn't recommend avoiding this product even. I do how ever feel potential buyers should be aware of this, it would too much to be exceptable for most people. I was very unhappy about the condition of their quality control. If I wasn't in a bind for time I wouldn't have accepted that lack of craftsmanship.

customer service sucks. this is my third and the keep charging a restock fee. because it is used. well, how would it fail if i hadnt used it?? i didnt buy it to mount it on my wall. stay away from this company. it is hit or miss from the reviews, but mine failed miserably for a 04 tundra. when communicating, their replies are not concise or contain some many grammatical errors you cant tell if they are saying one thing but mean something else. which happened A LOT.

The unit started leaking, they billed my credit card for the replacement of the one that’s leaking and I have to pay the technician to reinstall there faulty product and on top of that pay to ship it back. Terrible service & warranty. Took me a month to get the replacement unit (nightmare) !!! Should have used local parts house!!

My OE Sequoia rack developed the notorious rust leak under the big P side bushing. After unboxing this one from DA, I noticed the paint peeling and looking bubbly at the same spot. The whole area where the bushing goes looks very marred, rough, and with scuffed or peeling paint.. I believe this rack is from the same faulty Toyota racks and may have even had the same rust issue. See pictures.I bought this thinking it was new, I didn't see anything in the description saying it was remanufactured or rebuilt. Do not want to go through the trouble of installing this only to have the same rust leak in a year.

Received and installed only to be told from the mechanic that steering rack is faulty. The left side turns extremely hard. Purchased in November but not installed until January due to holidays and busy life so company now says we need to pay additional $100 shipping cost for a replacement. Ridiculous and getting through to this company had been a nightmare !
