I requested 2 defective ball joints be replaced and I was offered $5 for new grease fittings. The grease fittings were not the problem. The lower ball joints will not take grease. Also 2 of the tie rod ends have holes in the dust boots. Very poor quality control.

Both lower ball joints will not take grease. I had to go buy new ones from the part house and what do you know? They take grease like they’re supposed to. Also one of the upper ball joints had a torn boot. I wouldn’t waste your money! Buy quality parts.

I own a second gen Dodge Ram, found this kit on Amazon and thought for the price that it would be a great purchase. I got it very quickly, much quicker than I expected really. I didn’t open the box immediately because I’ve never had an issue with Amazon or products sold on Amazon, but then the next day I received a notice of a refund put back on my account, I thought it was a mistake, but I guess that Detroit axle thought it was best to send out the incomplete kit, rather than just cancel my order. I’m not complaining, but just letting people know my experience. All the parts I did get appear to be exact to the stock parts.
