I ordered this set in September because I wanted it for whenever I decided to take graduation photos prior to my December graduation. For the price, it was worth it. My robe looked different from my classmates but I didn't care. Congrats to all thr graduates!

This doctoral gown and tam are really great quality! I chose this to use for a Halloween costume that I’m putting together, but now I’m not sure if I’m going to because this is actually too nice of a tam and gown to take apart. So I may just use it as is. The fabric is a nice quality, the tam is a nice velour, and has the attached gold tassel. The gown has lovely fabric insets, the blue is bright and rich, and the fabric is pleated nicely.

I bought this because, for some reason, I couldn't find my doctoral regalia and I was supposed to participate in a graduation. This was a good price, and a good fit.Also, it is extremely hot to wear in the summer, but from what I gather, that is literally what this was made for: keeping professors warm in lecture halls in the winter.
