Didn’t fit an older Delta model. Fed up went to Home Depot and bought a Moen faucet. Best choice of after struggling with this thing. Sick of Delta products.

Working so far, even though the length of hose is shorter than stated and the original hose that came with my faucet. The connectors on mine appeared to be damaged but still works.

This hose is much shorter than the original one. I had to install it because the old one had a problem. Meanwhile the material seems to be very low quality compared to the original one. It is working now but I am not happy with the quality and the length of the hose.

Checked the Delta website to ensure part number was correct. Hose was different than original. Original had braided stainless hose and this one is some kind of plastic. Original clip was black and this one was blue and slightly different. Installation is easy if you sharpen a dowel to a point and stick it up from below. This will aid in helping the fitting pass through by centering the fitting so it doesn't hang up inside the faucet tube. Once you get the hose snaked through its just a matter of replacing the weight and putting the connections together. In my case, the new blue clip worked fine and was good and snug. My replacement was needed because of black particles coming through because of the rubber hose that was deteriorating. The first one lasted 20 years so can't complain. Everything is working fine now and no leaks.

Even though this is the correct part # for my faucet from Delta, the end that goes on the pipe under the sink doesn't fit and leaks. I fixed this by taking a piece of rubber from the old hose connector and wrapping it with electrical tape to fit snugly in the new hose end that pushes on. A little bit of vegetable oil on the pipe coming down from the faucet and it slid in place and clip is installed. No leaks!Really fast shipping, no complaints on that.

This was very hard to find. My original metal clad hose started to deteriorate from the inside. Black flakes started to appear in the water and I even called the water company. Turns out the hose was falling apart from the inside. I determined that by checking the water in the bathroom and other places in the house. Disassembly was a snap. Getting the new hose down the top of the faucet was terrible. I was on the verge of giving up when I decided to give it one last shot. I had to feed the bottom of the hose through the top of the faucet. The fitting got hung up twice on it's way down and required extreme wiggling and shaking back and forth. After this dedicated shaking of the hose back and forth, it was able to pass both of the edges that it was hanging up on. It's either commit to the wiggling and shaking or call a plumber or buy a new faucet. I'm giving it 5 stars because after the install, there were no leaks and the water flow was the same as before. I saved 100 to 200 dollars from having to buy a new faucet.

Better than new, better than the metal-encased hose. Caveat: we don't use the pull-out wand feature very often. Its likely that the metal protection will wear better if you pull it out every day. This braided hose fit the original application... almost perfectly. I had to finagle the connector that came with this hose to fit and not leak, because the clip does not lock as designed on the original Delta faucet. The fix was to use a pair of pliers and press it into place, then quickly tape it in that place with two layers of HVAC aluminum adhesive tape (not duct tape!) I'm sure that will hold for the life of the hose. The best thing about this hose was that the faucet worked better than new. The back pressure that used to exist in the original metal-encased hose was gone completely, so when you shut off the water at the faucet, the water immediately stopped at the end of the hose/fixture. No drips at all. With the original hose, the faucet always dripped a few drips whenever the water was shut off. I love this "feature" and I wish I'd known this improvement was in the offing, because I would have replaced the original hose many years ago.

This flex cable is not like the original chrome one and the connector is made of plastic. The adapter can't hold the cable in place because it is not made as the original one. I had to make up something to tie it in place otherwise water was coming out.

I'm pretty handy for a girl and I refuse to hire a plumber unless there's an issue with an appliance that uses gas...The installation was easy...I have the Delta Uptown: Kitchen Pull-Out Faucet. The original hose started leaking right behind where it's attached to the handle. I've had the faucet for many years, so just having to replace the hose was no big deal. As much as I would like to redecorate with a new faucet, it just isn't economical for me right now. First, this replacement hose is a bit thinner then the hose that came with the faucet, but it is actually easier to maneuver and it's lighter too. So I would say I prefer it over the original. It's only a few inches shorter then the original, so I just moved the weight/stopper up a little and I get the same amount of hose.Tips....I had to pull out the old hose from the faucet end because it won't fit through the hole pulling it from under the cabinet. I had a weight/stopper on the old hose which I used on the replacement since it didn't come with one. The weight is 2 pieces that has a screw on each side to close it onto the hose. It was a tad big on the new hose, and I was afraid it may slide a little which would defeat the purpose. So I just put a few rounds of electrical tape on the hose and that seems to hold it in place just fine once I clamped it on. Lastly, it does come with a clip for the quick-connect end, but it didn't fit over the metal pipe (too small I think), so I used the old clip which seems to work fine. You will need this piece since it keeps the quick-connect end from coming loose. So the hose only comes with a clip and some white plastic cap looking thing which I have no idea what it was for, but there should be no reason you can't use your existing parts for this hose.Edit: 2/22/13The quick connect end finally came off. Not because of a faulty product, but because I used my old clip to hold it on and i was too big I think. I got under the sink and finally was able to snap on the black clip that the hose came with. It's a much tighter fit, but I think that's what you would want. So if it seems like it doesn't want to go around the pipe and hose easily, use a little more force until it snaps over them. It will be worth the effort.
