Sherpa Soft California King Electric Blanket with Dual Controls is a very comfortable blanket. Not only do I approve/recommend, but my Scottish Terrier loves it too. She snuggled down beside me and didn't move.The blanket looks great on the bed and the controls are easy to use.This will be the second night to use the blanket, and ready for another warm cozy night of relaxation.

I love this blanket, (my cats love it too, lol) and I have tried a few different kinds. Both sides are very soft. The temp control device is easy to use, and has a variety of setting combinations for heat level and time, which is handy. At first, I wasn't sure the blanket was heating up enough, because I had to set it to the max of 20, but I think it just needed to get going for first-time use. Also, I put this blanket on my bed on top of a sheet, another blanket, and a comforter, and I pre-heat it while I'm getting ready for bed. When I crawl in, the sheets are not ice cold (even through all these layers) - which is wonderful! At first, I set it to 20, then when I'm in bed, I knock it down to 10 or 15 - depending on how chilly the room is. I have the timer set to only go for an hour or two, but it will auto-shut off after 10 hours on it's own. I love that if I wake up chilly in the middle of the night, I can reach over and turn on this blanket and it's toasty warm very soon! Also, I was specifically looking for a blanket that had a nice long cord, and a plug at the foot of the blanket. This blanket delivers both! I want to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and not be dealing with a cord hanging over the bed across my path. This cord is long enough to go from where it is attached at the foot of the blanket, under my bed to the temp controller (which I keep under the edge of the bed - by the head of the bed - but could easily reach up onto my nightstand) then has a separate cord coming out of the controller that extends over to the outlet on the wall. Genius! Other blankets to not offer this! I can curl up in this blanket while I sleep, and it is comfortable. Sometimes I feel the wires, but it doesn't bother me too much - I can also just make an adjustment to my covers, and it's all good. I have not washed this blanket yet, but I will update my review as needed, when I do.

Had ordered a queen size Sealy blanket for my husband who is always cold. It was great!! After a couple of weeks he decided he wanted a king size blanket so I ordered it and he loves the extra length on the side. We gave our queen blanket to our 14 year old granddaughter and she LOVES it!!! Soft and cozy are the 2 words that describe it the best. Controls are easy to work. Just wish number on console stayed lit while blanket is on. Love the beige color. I have not used heat on my side because the blanket is light yet warm enough for me !! Never a need for multiple blankets. The wires in the blanket are so thin you hardly know they are there. Have not washed it yet. Well worth the money.

I’m very happy with this company. They made it right. I was sent a new blanket and this one works amazingly. I think it was just a lot that was not working correctly. This is the second blanket that I have ordered. I say second because it replace the first one. They both only worked correctly on one side. Half of the blanket works great for only about two hours. The light is on but there is no heat after about two hours even though it’s set for 10 hours. Don’t purchase this product if you want a good quality product.

C'est la meilleure couverture électrique que j'ai achetée. Belle, douce, réversible et douce.MAIS quand j'ai reçu la facture de Fedex pour les frais de douane, là j'ai fait le saut, 65.47 $ et j'avais déjà payé des frais de transport de 33.68 $.Disons que le prix de ma couverture a légèrement augmenté.

J'habite le Québec au canada. La couverture est confortable et chauffe très rapidement. Je l'aie lavé une seule fois étant donné qu'elle ne touche pas mon corps. Pour le moment elle fonctionne très Bien des 2 côtés.

I've been a dedicated heated blanket fan for many years now and this is by far my favorite for several reasons.It does all the usual things - it's soft, the color is nice. The heat ranges from 1 - "I imagined that someone breathed nearby" to 20 - "I'm sleeping on a sand dune at high noon on a cloudless day in July" so you can fine tune exactly what you want, and the controller is easy to read and use. But it's also got some great features that I haven't seen elsewhere - I really like the preheat button, which gives you a short burst (I want to say 30 min) of extra heat before going back to where you have it set. My very favorite though is that it's compatible with a smart switch or timer. I have mine set to come on when the sun goes down so my bed is always warm by the time I get into it. Heaven. Blankets with native smart features are way more expensive so I'm very happy with this one.What really sets it apart though is the customer service. It's got a FIVE YEAR warranty my friends. In the three years I've had this I've gotten two or three replacements and each time has been quick and painless. I don't even mind that they stopped working - I haven't found a heated blanket that lasts longer than a year or two, so it's par for the course, but knowing that I can go five years between paying for a new one makes this a no brainer. When my five years is up and the last replacement dies I'll happily pay for this brand again, they've earned it.

Jan3-2023 Editing from 3 to 4 stars after using for a while and trying other blankets: this one is the plushiest of all blankets I tried. While by itself it doesn’t heat up as much as I would like I am able to get warm and toasty by adding another blanket on top to capture the heat and it works well.Original review: Giving 3 stars for softness, the look, and a nice color. As far as the function - the blankets heats to Luke warm only on the highest setting of 20. What is the point of having an electric blanket if it doesn’t heat up enough. It basically makes the bed feel just a touch warmer as if you just have warmed it up with ur body. Perhaps it is enough for some but for my RA it is not sufficient. I had it since Christmas and will most likely return. I did find it works better if I put another blanket over it but then there is a concern that blankets will shift or folds on itself and it may create a hazardous situation.Overall nice looking blanket just doesn’t get warm enough as compare to the cheap and old electric blanket that I previously owned for the past 20 years till I found out it had a fire retardant component.
