These are of poor quality in both material and craftsmanship- They’re thin metal that bends very easily. Charging top dollar for a poor quality product, go with a different brand!

Just needed to reference torque specs of spring and body bolts. Easy install no drilling needed.

Attempted to install mine today, read all the instructions which weren't very helpful, has the wrong size drill bit and wrong size socket noted. The provided bolts are we're supposed to be "self tapping" but stripped off the threads when I attempted to install in the drilled hole in the frame. Ended up having to drill larger holes and buy all new bolts, nuts, and washers from my local hardware store. You'll need about 20 of each or more if you need the support angle brackets.

The options for mounting are great however the bar itself is very lightweight I don't see it lasting for long probably sending it back

MY TRUCK IS A 2010 FORD RANGER 4XX4. HERE IS MY SUMMARY:REAR MOUNNTING BRACKETS ARE BOTH 2-PIECE. I HAD THEM WELDED TO MAKE THEM EACH 1-PIECE TO REDUCE SLOP/RATTLING, UP AND DOWN MOVEMENT.I THEN HAD ALL BRACKETS WELDED TO MY TRUCK FRAME (AFTER MARKING FRAME WITH WHITE PAINT TO HELP THE MAN DOING THE WELDING. ) THEY THEN BOLTED THE NERF BARS (U-TUBES) TO THE BRACKETS AFTER WELDING BRACKETS TO THE FRAME. SO I ONLY USED THE 4 LARGE BOLTS AND NUTS THAT CAME WITH IT.I ALSO WRAPPED THE VERY ENDS OF THE NERF BARS WITH ONE LAYER OF HEAVY DUTY GORILLA TAPE FOR REDUCING SLOP/PLAY. IT WORKED VERY WELL. THE NERF BARS ARE BOLTED TO THE BRACKETS USING THE BOLTS/NUTS PROVIDED. HOWEVER, I HAD TO ADD LOCK WASHERS SINCE THE KIT DOES NOT FURNISH THEM. (WHY ?)MY RESULTS ARE 5-STAR REGARDS LOOKS AND STURDINESS, AND THANKS TO THE GORILLA TAPE, MY INSTALLATION DOES NOT WIGGLE NOR RATTLE.IT COST ME $250 TO HAVE IT WELDED/INSTALLED AT LOCAL AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SHOP. WORTH IT BEING AS I AM 80, AND COULD NEVER HOPE TO DRILL THE 32 HOLES NEEDED TO BOLT IT TO MY CHASSIS. MY TRUCK BEING A 4X4 AND MY AGE MADE IT DESIRABLE TO INSTALL THESE. WE LOVE IT.I THIINK THE MAKER OUGHT TO INICLUDE LOCK WASHERS, AND OUGHT TO INCLUDE A SMALL AMOUNT OF GORILLA TAPE FOR WRAPPING ENDS TO ELIMINATE SLOP AND RATTLING. REAR BRACKETS OUGHT TO BE 1-PIECE LIKE THE FRONT BRACKETS ARE.BE PREPARED TO DO SOME WORK YOURSELF TO GET A GOOD, TIGHT INSTALLATION AND GOOD RESULTS. THE FINISH AND APPEARANCE ARE VERY GOOD.

Looks good, installation was not too bad. Should have bought the chrome bars instead because there is only a 2 year warranty for rust on the black bars..

Got these installed where I got my 2001 Dodge Dakota repainted. They look good and comes in handy stepping in and out of the truck. I''m going to take them back off and shortin them about 3" to put them closer to the cab. Other than that I love them. Update: well they lasted 7 yrs and rusted right in through. Had to cut them off.

Tried to buy these from a local vendor who obviously tried to run me over the coals on price and shipping then wanted to talk down on the product as it was a universal fit, try buying custom fit for an old dodge truck. I have purchased 2 sets of these one in chrome and this set in black and yes they do require some effort on the owners behalf to drill holes so they will mount but I like them much more than any other set I have tried.
