I replaced my original DC connector cable as it was extremely wobbly and did the thing where you have to have it at the *exact* angle to charge, and this one works just fine! It's a bit longer than the original cable like some have mentioned, but not really a problem since I just folded it a bit when putting it in. Now, I did have to rotate the charger (as in, literally slowly turn the charger in the port) for the battery to begin charging, but it's a lot better than curling up or bending the charger to work and works 100% consistent when it does line up right. I've replaced the battery and charger multiple times since the 7786's power supply units are just so untrustworthy, so you may not get the rotating thing like I did since this laptop is wonky in general.Seems to be made of high quality material, and can confirm it working with the Dell Inspiron 7786 2-in-One, actually worked in two computers. It holds the charger quite firmly compared to the flimsy original connector, I actually have to put a bit of force to pull out the charger, which I like more than the port being wobbly and easily yankable. Pretty satisfied with my purchase and for a lower price compared to Dell's $9 for the OEM connector cable.

Replaced a broken DC port with this one. This fit with no issues and the charger fits with a good tight connection. The laptop is charging again with no problems.

Very easy to install in my partners Dell Inspiron 13-7386 2-in-1. Her laptop has had a charging problem for years where you have to keep the charging cable in a very specific position and pray that it will continue charging after you get it to start. Between this intermittency problem and her battery life getting very short (~3 years into ownership), we were dreading taking the laptop in for an expensive 'repair' or outright buying a new machine.Fortunately, I was able to find a replacement battery on Amazon (yay) and was very happy to find this power jack available to be purchased and shipped via Prime. At the end of the day, it took under $50 for a new battery and power jack along with an hour of my time to completely fix the intermittent charge problem along with battery issues. Yay!The only potential downside - and it may not be a downside if you have a different model than what I listed above - is that the cable is something like an inch or so longer than the factory default. It's minor, but this makes it so when installing you have to sort-of shove it down into the guts along the back. This felt weird/wrong, but ultimately was a non-issue as we are about a month in with it working operationally. Docking 1 star for 'Easy to install' due to this, but still would highly recommend.Thanks Rangale!!

My laptop charger is not charging laptop and I had to adjust the cable slot to get it charge. It was so annoying. The product delivered is exactly as shown in picture. Came to know about this product (my laptop model is mentioned in description) and installed it in my laptop replacing old one. 20 mins job. Charging work like brand new now. Only downside, cable is little longer than original one. So need to adjust the cable inside laptop after connecting to the board, which is not big challenge. Definitely saved $$.

The wire s are a little toolong for a Dell Inspiron 17 7779 or Inspiron 17 7773. But other than the length of the wires it fit and worked perfectly.
