About magnetic arc extinguishing
- AC circuit breakers cannot be used for DC, whereas DC circuit breakers can be used for AC.
- AC has a zero point, while DC does not, so DC arcs are more difficult to extinguish than AC arcs
- DC miniature circuit breakers are equipped with a magnetic field system under the breaking contact that pulls the arc into the interrupter chamber to assist in extinguishing the arc.

- Take care to select the number of poles you need.
- Please select the wire size according to the rated current.

When my breaker is set to on, the flags are red. When I turn the breaker off, the flags are green. Seems backwards. I am not sure if this breaker is just backwards or it was designed that way.

This 40 amp duel pole dc breaker was perfect for protecting my 30 amp mppt solar controller with 10 amp load connected. I love the fact this came with the din rail to mount very neatly in my rv solar project. It looks very nice and is constructed well. It was easy to install.

Strange It's 2 ,12 1⁄2 amp circuit breakers placed in parellel. Look good now But I'm uncomfortable with this configeration.1 of the circuit breakers is going to break 1st of course and this will damage the contacts of this 1 eventually so I only have a 12 1⁄2 Breaker fuse
