The secret to making speakers sound great lies with the Crossover you use. With the dB 234s crossover you'll get great performance, Ultra low-noise, rugged reliability and four decades of dB knowledge and expertise in building the world's finest processors. The 234s uses precision filters to separate the audio signal and direct the correct frequencies to your loudspeaker drivers. By directing only the specific frequency bands to each speaker driver the 234s leaves your amplifiers free to use their full power on the usable signal eliminating distortion and giving your PA system A cleaner and better sound. The dB 234s is a dual channel crossover with all the features you would expect from a professional product. It features Linkwitz-Riley 24dB per octave filters, independent output gain controls for level matching, output phase inversion, 40 Hz low cut filter, and optional mono summing of the low frequency (subwoofer) output. Everything in the design exudes great precision from the solid "click" Controls to the high quality 1/4" Trs inputs and outputs.

I bought a used pair of Infinity Interlude IL50 speakers (with busted tweeters and dead built-in woofer amps) with the idea of using my DBX 234S active crossover with external amps as my bedroom system . I replaced the original tweeters with a pair of Peerless ring tweeters and then bought 3 Fosi ZA3 amps to use with my DBX 234s. A week of experimenting later, I got the system dialed in and am blown away by the clarity, resolution and dynamics of the system. I have a pair of $4000 Monitor Audio Platinum 100 speakers but find myself listening to my modified 3 way/DBX234S speakers 90% of the time. The flexibility and clarity of the DBX active crossover is a revelation. Highly recommended!

Channel 2 pots didn't work ones that did were cracking like crazy. Tried to return but didn't have time to run it to a amazon drop off or courier to return and wasn't going to pay shipping cost to return an item that didn't work. Took this into a friend who does pro audio electronic repairs, when He opened it up he told me he found that my problem was due to the pots have broken connector pins. Waste of money but that just teaches me to never buy used signal processing again

I actually ordered this item by mistake from TIGERSL but the seller took it back no problem and has been especially helpful in locating the DBX item I meant to order. I have spoken to them in person and they are exceptionally polite, sympathetic and helpful. Very nice people. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Great quality absolutely a necessity if you have a professional amplifier set up. I run 3 QSC amplifiers in my rack each going to a set of EAWs. Unbelievable sound detail and precision.

I bought this mostly to eliminate passive crossovers from my homebuilt speakers, and I think it was a great investment. The build quality is good, the controls are postive and accurately labeled, and the options it offers make it very flexible.Since I'm using it in a home system I added a bunch of adapters to provide unbalanced RCA jacks (the Hosa GPR101s), and that has worked fine.

DBX is still the benchmark. I needed an electronic crossover for a pair of three way cabinets and in stereo. This was just the ticket. Balanced too and the best price in town or on the Internet. I looked ALL over.
