Needed a replacement for my bathroom sink, it was the correct size but the material it is made from was to stiff to form a good seal.

I swapped in a different sink and added a new faucet and drain assembly. But the gasket that came with the drain simply would not stop leaking. Nothing I tried worked until I realized that, sure, the sink may be level, the drain may be perfectly vertical, but the bottom of the sink was an entirely different story. The outflow is crooked -- it's tilted at a very slight angle, which made a tight seal for the regular gasket impossible. (In retrospect, this could be related to why I got the sink for free. Huh.)This Danco gasket was my last ditch effort, and it solved my problem. It's so fat that once it was firmly pressed into place, not a drop could get past it. However! It's extremely tough to get on. It's a really, really, really tight fit. I had to use a flat-head screwdriver to help force it down over the lip of the pipe then crank/twist it hard to get it down the threads and into place. It doesn't fit completely snug into the bottom of the sink, but it's more than sufficient to finally stop the leaking.

After several attempts with other gaskets, and a few cuss words, I finally ordered and used this one. Behold it worked. Could have saved a lot of trouble had I ordered this when I got the sinks
