The installation is tricky and you might need additional tools like hex wrench, but it is a great kit to rebuild your old leaky valves.Tip - the seating have to be installed with the tape as well or a glue. Otherwize it is going to leak.

Wrong product. Package was labeled right manufacturer put wrong product in it. ( Cold instead of hot valve). Manufacturer made it right by sending correct valve

The item pictured is threaded the opposite direction compared to the item I received. I cannot use the item I received. I have used the packing or bonnet to lessen the amount of water that I am leaking during use. It is not exactly the right size either but it helps.

This is not a replacement for the original Crane. The stem and the ring are bigger diameter than the original. It may work with the later model, but it definitely does not fit in the place of the original Crane.
