I want you to know that the stem on the right will replace the stem on the left! The 1st time I received the replacement stem I immediately returned it and asked for a replacement ONLY to receive the same stem on the right again! So it took me two additional days to decide to give it a try.I installed it yesterday with no issue!! HOWEVER, it would have been nice to have this noted in the product description, that is why I lowered the rating to 4 stars. Here is what you need to know:1. You will need a faucet stem wrench to install this. Screw off the black plastic outer housing by hand and install normally. Then screw it back on before installing the decorative fixture stuff. Thats it.

Una de las piezas estaba quebrada una de las partes internas, decidí no devolverlo dado que era una compra internacional, y con la pieza anterior que ya tenía, pude completar una que funcionara

Used these to replace Pfister stems that started leaking. They fit perfectly and do the job well, but start to drip after a year or two.

I end up needing to replace one of these every 6 months or so. Buying on Amazon, they are $1 or so less than at lowes or home depot. In store availability has been sketchy, so I keep these in my cart and just buy one anytime in placing an Amazon order. That way, I always have one in stock at home. They are a perfect fit, and easy to replace, they just don't last. I haven't been able to find another manufacturer, so I'll just keep buying them until I replace the bathroom.

So I replace my shower facet stem about every 2 years with a dripping problem. But my last batch it only lasted 3 months and it is a result of the white plastic part broke like many have described. I went to Danco’s website found that it should carry a minimum of one year warranty. I called the 800 number and spoked to a Danco technician. She told me the part is not covered under warranty because it has been working for 3 months. The part broke due to hard water. How funny that she knew I have hard water and She knew exactly what plastic part I am talking about. See the pattern here. I am sure I am not the only one that had complain. The company now day take no pride in their product. Reading through the reviews there are multiple complains about the plastic broken off. I found the old set that I replaced a few years ago and the plastic do look different seems like it is made of different material. What is a year warranty if you don’t stand beyond your product? She insists that it is not a defect well I think Danco just make shitty product and this will be my last purchase

Great replacement cartridges for ours killed by poor quality municipal water supplies. Can be set for clockwise or counterclockwise operation if you prefer shower faucets that turn towards each other to open water flow. The price I paid was much lower than the local home improvement chains.
