I have tried numerous ways to get the very strong taste/smell of plastic out of the reservoir. I've let it sit with lemon, baking soda, etc. and done multiple washings. I truly hope that at some point it will not taste like a toxic wasteland. Can't use it so far.

It looks Ok. The upper Gray plastic sealing is a bit bigger than the original Black part. Price is relatively high. It states on the package the product was designed in the USA, however I did not see it stated where it was manufactured.

Had this camelbak for years and use it mostly at music festivals. Its so easy to fill at water stations and never leaks. The only reason I bought a replacement is because it was stained brown from dirty festival water and i chewed the mouthpiece to shreds. But it lasted 3years and 10 festival!!!

Very nice. Easy to use, and the seal is secure. I installed it in my new Dakine Heli Pro 24 liter pack. Fits nicely, holds plenty of water for a day in the side-country.

Le produit est vraiment très pratique, mais je constate un gout de plastique assez prononcé meme après plusieurs lavages. Mais rien de rédhibitoire non plus.

This one is a little wider than the standard one that came with my original pack but I can tell it has been better engineered. It has a much better clip seal on top and a higher quality rubber. Overall it is a vastly improved product and fits in existing bags with a little convincing.
