Tips for Increase Suction Cups
Please make sure that the suction surface is dry before installation. And please soak the suction cups in warm water for 2-3 minutes to help increase the good suction power of the suction cups.
Note: If the iron frame is found to be uneven, please straighten the iron frame and then assemble it.

My cat loves to sit in my bedroom window when it’s open. I bought this since summer is here and I have the a/c on and the windows closed. I figured it would go nicely with my decor while letting my cat look out the window. Unfortunately it doesn’t stay up. At all. It isn’t the window or the suction cups, it is the engineering. Those two skinny ropes attached to suction cups are not enough to hold the hammock plus a cat. If a slight push from my hand brings it down there is no way it will hold my ten pound cat, especially if he jumps onto it. I’ll be looking for another alternative and returning this one.

So I have a very large and in charge cat. I also rent and do not own, so drilling into the walls wasn’t an option (even though it does come with screws and all the tools). I followed the directions perfectly and immediately as soon as it was time for my cat to try it out 24 hours later, it fell and he is scared to death of it now. It came with an extra suction cup, but I’m not going through the trouble again. It would work best if it was screwed into the window sill or a wall. I will keep for future. Otherwise it is super cute, looks just like the picture, material is nice, quality (other than suction cups) is great. Made of a great material. And has the potential to be a super comfy lounge spot for my cat.

Clam and Chowder are obsessed with their hammock. So much so that I bought another one. They’re cute, easy to put together and hang, well made and sturdy. I followed the instructions for mounting and haven’t had any issues with them popping off - even with both of my cats on it.

Very attractive seems sturdy enough for my 17lb siberian. Like the hammock style. The only issue I have one suction cup that will not stick, just falls even when not in use. Came w extra cup will try that if not I'll go buy my own.

Most macrame cat hammocks seemed too small for my 14-pound Hobbit potato cat, Molly Baggins.The frame is sturdy to hold her weight without bending or warping or making her feel insecure. She's been sleeping in it for about a month now.Installation was easy. The instructions were basic (no words), but it was easy to figure out.It was unclear where the 5 clear rubber rings go, but I put them on either side of the loops to prevent slippage. I don't really think they are necessary, but I used 4. I assume the 5th was a spare.Now, I forgot that macrame and cotton STRETCH after a while. I had to use hooks at the top of the hammock, and I wish I had made them a full inch higher than they are now. The straps stretched and now it slopes down a little. Molly Baggins doesn't seem to mind, but it bothers me lol.I love the look of this hammock. My husband and I have a hippy style home, with lots of plants, natural light, and macrame, and most commercial cat window hammocks are so ugly. This is a great artistic and practical touch to our home!
