I initially gave this product a very negative review. The product in my opinion wasn’t properly thought out and designed…….too heavy. However, I need to say that once the seller read my review, without me reaching out to him has contacted me and offered a full refund. One does not find such integrity in today’s world.I want to thank him profusely for his thoughtfulness. Sellers like this are one in a Gazillion.Thank you very much

I had been using my spd cleats for years before switching to delta. I didn't want to have to buy new shoes, so this adapter was the answer. It was easy to use and fits perfectly.

I didn't think this product was going to work, But it worked out great for what I needed it to do. I had Bike shoes I absolutely loved and did not want to give up both these hooked up a set of look paddles to them and they work great....

There are two issues with these adaptors: first, they raise the foot height and make shoes feel a bit awkward. Second, they’re anything but light, and added quite a bit of weight to my SPD shoes. At the end, I abandoned the adapters and bought a pair of low end road shoes.

I thought it would be better to spend money on this adapter rather than buying entirely new spin shoes when we got our Peloton. I had been taking spin classes at a gym and using SPD cleats/pedals which only have a 2-screw attachment. Peloton pedals are Look brand and I like them as they're more stable than SPD so wanted to use them but my Shimano spin shoes only have 2 holes for cleats. These adapters do the trick but they add significant height (change saddle height by 1cm or more) and weight and are difficult to walk any distance in. They also loosen way faster than regular cleats would. If you're strapped for cash, a decent option but otherwise, just get the shoes you need for the job.

These are the only converters I have found that go from SPD to Look/Shimano style cleats. Everything lines up very accurately and they are well made. However, there are to issues to be aware of. Once is the increased stack height. With the plate and the Look cleat installed, you'll be adding and inch of height. If you've wanted a shorter crank arm, this may be a good option. However, if your bike fits you perfectly without it, you may need to adjust your saddle height. Walking with that much going on under your foot is difficult too. The other issue is the weight. These things are heavy! I appreciate the durability of aluminum, but since these don't make any contact with the ground, I don't see why that couldn't have been made from plastic or carbon. They added weight is really going to be an issue for some people. This concept is great and they do work, but I would suggest that whoever manufactures these adapters looks into making them as this as they can get away with and out of a lighter material. Now for the good. If you have MTB or gravel shoes and recently bought some power meter petals or a bike with Look-style pedals, these will get you riding and save you money on new shoes or new pedals. If you have another bike with SPD pedals, these can always be removed.I would recommend these as a temporary fix until you can get the petals or the shoes you need.
