Was wondering if this scope would be any good when I purchased it, I am pleasantly pleased with the quality of the scope.The box its packaged in is very basic, nothing fancy. Upon opening I was impressed with the quality of the materials. Seems super solid and built like a tank. Moving all the pieces on the scope is very pleasing and tactile.Performance:Amazing clear and clean lenses. The picture you get when looking through the optical is superb. To explain the 56 mm objective lens compared to other cheaper models is like regular definition to high definition. It picks up and pulls light through really well. It also has all the adjustments you'll ever need to lock onto a target. I'd compare it to one of my other $1000 scopes. It's really that good. Has a built-in throw lever and sunshade.As I said, it has a great click feel. It also has a zero stop that you can get it back to super easy.Reticle selection is really good. It gets larger and smaller as you zoom in and out. I've seen one other review which indicates the center dot is way too large when you get to longer distances, but I've not had any issues with this. No middle chevron, which doesn't bother me either as the sight picture is just great. All in all, for the current price this is a no brainer. 5 stars.

I was unable to mount this scope because it does not fit on my gun's Picatinny rail. It is difficult to give an accurate review for this reason, but I will comment on what I can. This does not seem to be a good value at $570, although it seems to be solidly built. It is a hefty piece of equipment and will balance aesthetically with a larger gun. It comes with mounting hardware for the right size Picatinny rail.

Scope has good clear glass and nice audible turrets but is no good for long range target shooting. A FFP scopes reticle gets larger as you increase the magnification. If the center dot is to large it covers your target making it unusable. And that is what happens with this scope. Center dot is way to big rendering it useless for target shooting. May be good for hunting or closer range shooting.

This is a very well made scope. It is rock solid and very attractive. It is made primarily of aluminum. The scope has a sunshade which is easily attached to the front of the scope. The magnification ranges from 5-25 power. It has a multitude of adjustments from windage to elevation, etc. The reticle can be illuminated in black or red. The scope has exceptional clarity and is shockproof and waterproof. It comes with flip-up lense caps, scope rings, a cleaning cloth, a sunshade, 2 batteries and a couple of wrenches. Ordered this scope to put on my R700 to replace a cheap sub $100 Chinese scope. The results and improvements over the Chinese scope were very big this is a significantly nicers scope and that is reflected in it's price of $569.99 compared to the Chinese $96.99. The glass quality of the CVLIFE is miles better than the Chinese scope a night and day difference in glass clarity. Next is the build quality of the scope which is outstanding this thing is built like a tank and very heavy took it scream quality when it comes to how it was made. The scope has an illuminated reticle that can be illuminated red if you so desire and don't want to use the base black reticle. The 5-25x zoom window is perfect in my opinion for the kind of long range shooting I will be doing most of the time so love that. This is a great scope and will probably be all I ever need, like I said it is a good middle of the road scope not Chinese cheap but not Nightforce or Leupold expensive eiher just a very good middle of the pack scope with plenty of features, very clear glass, and bomb proof build quality for most people that is all you need. I give this scope 5 stars and would certainly recommend it to other shooters in the market for a high powered rifle scope.
