**IMPORTANT**
Your image must not be too detailed. Embossers work best with less detail. Embossers work by squeezing together to raise the paper so any details are are too fine or extremely small will just merge.
Embosser Orientation
As each insert clip will only create the impression in one direction, you will need to specify an orientation for your embosser
Whichever direction that is chosen is the side of the page upon which the design will appear to be right side up
Bottom Orientation
If you are embossing an envelope flap, you would choose “bottom” as the plate will be set up so that the design appears right side up on the bottom of the paper. If you took this same insert clip and embossed the top of a card, the design would be upside down.
Top Orientation
If you are embossing a design on the top of a card, then you would select “top” as the orientation. When embossing, the card will be inserted upside down if you have the embosser handle facing you.

Reading a Book

The whole logo is upside down - which defeats the purpose of using it on the bottom of a book page.The logo is a blobby mess. If the company had reached out and said: "Your logo won't work, can you send a different image" I would have gladly sent a simplified version rather than be stuck with a useless embosser that looks like someone threw up a blob at the bottom and all my words are upside down (the logo image should be at the top). Why would you re-orient a logo to upside down? It makes ZERO sense (and yes, I placed it in corrected (top side up and bottom side down). That doesn't fix the fact that the logo is upside down when you use it. AND YOU TESTED IT - so you knew that. You also knew the logo was a blobby mess because you included the "test" emboss stamp on the box. And you still sent it anyway.The really bad thing is that I had a bunch of author friends waiting to see how this turned out, so they could order one to use at a book signing we have coming up. Not only did you make one customer unhappy but you lost a dozen more that would have done business with you and referred you to other authors as well. Sigh

This embosser works really great. My image is sharp and the embosser is easy to setup and imprint with. The only thing that would make it better would be if the plate were reversible, so that you could press from any direction. Great product overall!

I was really excited to receive this and really happy once I opened it up and tried it out! I love it! My logo itself embosses so well but I notice the sides kinda pucker out a bit on the outside of the logo. I’m hoping I’m just pressing to hard but will play around with it some more and see. I recommend it though!
