He was super comfy and honestly the dress itself is pretty solid. The candle and hat had him running around our house like Clara from The Nutcracker before battle scene. (IYKYK)

Ok, part gimmick and part actual useful nightgown for dudes, here. So, while they nail the gimmick, being not overly difficult, did they actually get the main part to work?Kind of, but not enough for me. The candle and hat are the gimmick. Cute, then put away until Ebeneezer Scrooge comes to stay for the night.As for the nightgown. Well, I am a shorts and tee guy, with occasional forays into jams. This was a first for me with a full nightgown, and I was quite curious about it.Let me start with the worst, first. I'm 6' 1", and this hangs very big at the neck for me. I'm even a pretty decent frame, medium at least, so if you are smaller than me, I don't think this is for you. Unless you don't mind the large, open neck, then by all means, have at it.For me, the loose neck felt just like a loose necked shirt would feel. Too open and a good bit uncomfortable. That being said, I could have probably lived with it if the second item for review weren't also an issue.This second problem is the material. It is neither soft enough nor thick enough to make it comfortable for wearing all night in bed, or even walking about the house. It's fairly rough, and being thin, not very friendly against the skin. If it were of a softer flannel, as it should be in my opinion for pj's, then all other shortcomings would have been more easily overlooked.The last item that was a bit off was the tightness of the item. It made it quite uncomfortable to put on and off. Like, tube tight. I felt like I was within a tube and it was a struggle to get it up and off, as it didn't want to give for my shoulders to come out.The upside is that, once on, the leg length and cut at the bottom made for movement and personal business to be a non-issue. The look and style is actually great.Again, overall, if only the flannel itself were of a thick, warm pajama style, I think it would have been an easier 4, if not 5 stars.

It's a fun idea. Overall length is good but the sleeves are too short and tight making it uncomfortable to sleep in. Tore after one nights sleep. Save some hassle and spend a little more for a regular night shirt. The cap is actually more comfortable than I expected and it's hard to go wrong with a candle.

This Christmas flannel set is super fun. It fits well and is well made enough to wear more than just for dress up. They are high quality and very comfortable to wear. 10/10
