Easy to install and fit perfectly on my Cub Cadet RZTS46. Looked a bit different than what was originally on mine, so either my repair shop screwed mine up at some point and jury rigged it up, or this is just better designed from the original. The differences make perfect sense to have for the longevity and usability of the part. Fst delivery as well, as it got here several days sooner than what was originally said.

The throttle on our RZT 54 was starting to need frequent adjustment at the engine end to close the choke for starting, so I removed the cable from the machine (two screws and some contortions to reach) and found that the handle end bracket had bent at the right angle where the cable attaches. I wasn't confident that rebending would be a long term fix so I ordered this replacement. Where the original was just a slot crimped around the cable housing this one has a plastic end to better distribute the force from the cable and housing. The cable/housing is stiffer than the original and wants to push the throttle handle over at a slight angle, I was unable to find a way to eliminate this so the handle has a small lean. And, as always, the motor end of the cable takes some fiddling so the run position is full engine speed but with no choke applied, and the choke position actually closes the choak since the Kohler won't start when cold without choking. it's not possible to see the choke plate through the plastic air filter housing, and it's a bear to remove the plastic shroud to see it, so I did it by trial and error in a couple passes. The mounting holes are unthreaded until the self tapping screws are installed, wasn't working with a screwdriver (could be I'm an old guy with a touch of arthritis) so I pulled it back out and used an impact driver to start the screws and thread the holes. It's working well, we'll have to see how it holds up.
