The characteristics are similar to that of other Crypts such as Crypt Lucens. Like other plants in the same family, it grows at a moderate rate and can be grown both submerged and emerged. To propagate, simply cut off new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome.

I ordered the cryptoryne parva, first of all the pot came healthy and alive which is great. My only complaint , and it is a pretty important one when selling aquatic plants, is that these small crypts were lazily put into a pot and allowed to grow all jumbled up into a big knotted mess. Which means if you wanted to plant the little crypts around your aquarium you have to risk damaging the roots and plants trying to tear the plants apart from each other.Ive ordered from other sellers and they fold the crypts into different layers in the pot so that they dont grow all knotted up like this.Even the Petco tissue culture for cryptocoryne parva was better about this. So yeah, small plant pot all knotted up. Wasnt happy. One of the pots was so knotted i didnt even bother trying to tease them apart just planted the whole knot.

Package received ahead of promise date, which is goo. However, there were only 13 plants. Several of the plants had more than one leaf which was probabl confusing to the person picking the plants. the plants were grown in a plastic container wih a wrapping of paper wadding, which is a good way to gow plants as opposed to agar gel. That is why I gave it a 4. A 5 would otherwise would have been given them were at least 15 plants [up to 20, which would have been great].The plants weemed to be in good good health with the excepting of two plants with multiple leaves--each had a yellow stem and leaf.Otherwise I am pleased with the order. The plants were somewhat difficult because when I planted the in my substrate, many 'popped up' which is not their problem, just mine as plants sometimes do that. Time will tell if the plants grow--in several tanks and with Thrive capsules near each one, so it will be a 'race' to see which plants succeed in their 40-gallon tanks.

I purchased 8 pots, 3 different kinds of crypts. I expected them to be a melty mess like every other crypt I've purchased or moved from one tank to another. Imagine my shock when they adjusted to my tank almost immediately and only maybe a half dozen leaves in total showed any slight sign of melt. The wendtii brown was a little smaller than I was expecting but it's taken root very fast and growing well! Absolutely top tier quality plants and I'm a loyal customer for life. Prices are excellent and the pots are absolutely LOADED with individual well established plants.
