The tongs are great, the pouring ring required a lot of heating and bending to actually fit the crucible, but overall I'm happy with everything.

This is a very heavy duty set and ruggedly built. But this set is not for "up to 10 KG" as they state in the listing. I am using a 6 KG crucible and this does not fit at all. Nor do the tongs even fit into my furnace.I believe this set will only work for larger crucibles about 10 KG in size and not as they stated.I saw the dimensions on the listings which are not really clear so I took a risk and got these anyway. The lifting tongs will go over the crucible but will not fit into my furnace without modification. I will have to bend them at the elbows in order to fit. See the photo. It is way too wide.The pouring tongs slide right over the top of my 6 KG 5.3 in wide crucible without touching. Their listing is a bit confusing when showing the measurements because it shows outer diameter of 5.3 in which would fit. But these are larger than 5.3 inner diameter and wont work for me without modifications.This is the best deal on Amazon that I could find for the price though. And this set is very heavy duty. I figure I can modify these to fit my needs. The second photo shows how large the handles are and how wide the flat stock of the tongs is.
