I have an RX 580 GPU that goes thru it's OEM style fans about every 8-9 months. I got tired of hunting down replacements and wanted to just ziptie some 92mm case fans on it, but I didn't want to ruin the 'factory wiring' on either the 92mm fans or the cards wiring harness. This allowed me to do that. The two 92mm fans plug right into this harness and the small 'micro gpu' end plugs right into the GPU circuit board. It actually runs cooler _AND_ quieter now. Now when I eventually go to sell the GPU, I can slap the factory shroud w/factory style fans back on the cooler and it should be good to go. Actually, this worked out so well I will need at least another one to keep on hand.

I've used 2x of these in different manufacturers conversions... SOLID construction, exactly as described and works amazing.

Basically what I said in the title. I bought this adapter cable to slap some large fans onto my graphics card, and this allowed me to use the mini fan header on the card. Job done.

So I got this so I could put my identical noctua pwm fans on the gpu heatsink and after a simple installation, come to find that the 3 pin on the splitter doesn't work. The fan plugged into the 4 pin in the splitter spins, but that's only half the cooling at puts my gpu capped off at 91c in games. Even after switching the cable on the two fans to make sure for some reason my fans went bad, got the same result. So I'm at a loss. Wanted to use these fans, but guess I need to dig through my closet to scrounge some up until they both work.

Natürlich ist der Preis viel zu hoch. Aber im Gegensatz zum Konkurrenzprodukt für 6€ von Gelid rutschen die Lüfter Kabel nicht von selber wieder raus. (Noctua Redux in meinem Fall).

If you are using a Micro or MIni motherboard you may be limited as to the number of 4 pin fan connectors that are available. You can add a hub which come in up to 10 connectors but then you can't control each fans speed separately, the software sees the fans on the hub as one. With this adapter you can hook two fans together into one port. Yes, they will be seen as one by the software but at least you can have separate "channels" say for your intake and exhaust type fans which is as it should be. This way you can balance the pressures within your case with fan speed if the fans are different sizes or quantity. These are also available in 1 to 3 if that is needed.

When my Zotac 1080mini started to make fan noise, I found I wasnt alone. My thoughts were to add it into my water loop and be done, but the cost was just not worth what buying two 92mm fans and a small franchise on cable-ties. Super happy to find that a cable like this already exists, which speaks to the population who do actually repair their own VGA cards. Its a very cheap ($30ish) to effectively make your card quieter and cooler which might have a positive impact on performance. The Amazon review for this asks me how warm, thick and sheer this item is, and I can wholeheartedly say that its just fabulous for all three.
