My grandson is only seven, so I didn't want to make it difficult for him to take care of his new fish. This fish tank was just right for him. And, he loved that he could change colors.

Within the first week I took off the lid to change Bernard’s water and there was mold under the lid really bad. I cleaned it but it just keeps growing back. I guess bamboo doesn’t like water under it. I had to buy something else to put him in. I don’t recommend this for your betta.

Looked as to how much water a betta should have--5 gal...then a gold fish--10 gal. Have all the filler, guess I'll put a fake fish in it.
