This is a well designed and high quality product. Detailed step by step instructions guide you through this build. They even provide a cut sheet and give all measurements needed. You do need to know how to mortise with a router, so some wood working skills are needed. That would be the most difficult part of the build. Super satisfied with the kit!

I’d say I’m an average handy person, I took my time and used cut offs as a rail guide for the skill saw. All measurements and cuts are precise so it comes down to the user. Another tool that was handy is the drill attachment for drilling square holes; not necessary but I think it’s worth the purchase for a build to have on-hand for future.Take your time, double check, triple check if you need to and build this. I haven’t gotten as far as adjusting the mech but I can only assume it’s worth the additional cost.

Imho this set is very very solid and I like it.User manual(Yt+paper one) is quiet easy to follow but it demands some basic carpentry skills or even more than basics.Opening and closing goes smoothly.At the end I hope that it will really last 50.000 cycles 😉

The price is ridiculous given what you get: a couple of struts worth less than £50 and some brackets/mounts/legs/screws etc. I wish I had shopped around for another brand. Instructions are poorly laid out and jump from place to place. The measurements are only in inches. If you do decide to buy this then I would advise you to get your plywood cut by a competent person with a panel saw. Precision is important. My local sawmill would not accept measurements in inches so I had to convert everything to metric. Assembly is not for the beginner, only attempt this if you are experienced and have some decent woodworking tools. Buy a good grade of plywood. The finished product does however work well and looks good.

I can’t say enough good things about the Create-A-Bed Adjustable Full Size Deluxe Murphy Bed Kit! The kit itself is incredible — the build process was super easy thanks to the extremely detailed instructions. Even as someone who's not particularly handy, I had no trouble putting everything together.That said, I did run into a small issue due to user error (completely my fault). Here’s where the customer service absolutely blew me away. I called the number on the packet and was amazed when an actual human answered right away — no endless phone menus, no long hold times. Within a minute, I was speaking to another human who not only knew exactly what I had done wrong but also walked me through the solution step by step with patience and clarity.This level of customer care is almost unheard of these days! They turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a positive experience that made me love this company even more.If you’re considering this kit, don’t hesitate — it’s a fantastic product backed by THE BEST customer service I’ve ever encountered. Highly recommend!

The kit was the cheapest part of this build. Expect to spend significantly more if you use quality materials, which you absolutely should. The quality of the finished product is directly tied to it. I'm extremely pleased with how mine turned out. This was not a weekend project but should be doable by anyone that is patient and competent. The hardware supplied was complete and high quality. The instructions, both written and in their youtube video were comprehensive and easy to understand. I modified mine to match the style of my desk for my home office/study conversion that I'm doing with my spare room. I am very happy with this and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again for future projects. Highly recommend

We wanted our bed made from solid wood, not plywood. Doing so voided the warranty on the set, which was not started in the directions. It says use plywood only, but even finished plywood that sanded has jagged edges. We got it to work, but their support team was not friendly at all.

This is extremely sturdy and the instructions were very thorough. The only change I recommend is to NOT screw into the end of side grain of plywood. There is one piece at the end of the platform that is better as solid wood and not plywood for this reason.

Works great but would be good to have metric measurements for the instructions. I had to convert everything and it wasn’t easy!
