I really like the looks and quality of the metal crash bar. The instructions were great, especially after not noticing the part about using the longer bolts on the left side. As others have said it did need some tweaking to install it and I do not like the hooks. I will fabricate something more solid. The other problem I had was the 2 small screws that bolt the 2 halves together. On 1 of the bolts the threads stripped out completely, not too much of an issue after digging through the bolts I found one to replace it. On the other small bolt the Allen head stripped out and I couldn't tighten it or loosen it. I had to use vise grips to get it out. I tried to use another of the same bolts that I used to replace the other side and it snapped off in the bar. I had to drill it out and I tapped a new much bigger thread to use a bigger bolt that won't snap. I don't really think that is the fault of the product so still giving it 4 stars.

It is easy to install but you have to take a big crescent and put a rag on it’s jaws so you don’t scratch the ears and bend them back toward the motor a little so that it will bolt on straight with the frame clamps. A black U bolt would have been a way better idea. It is simple to install otherwise if you can picture prints in your mind.

Does not bolt at the top connection of frame, they use 2 hook clamps that don't fit properly which apparently "cup" the frame and when I have them in position to tighten they slip off allowing the gaurd to fall forward into my front fender. I either have to find a new way to mount them or return them. Instructions were not very helpful either.

For something that’s made specifically for this model, it doesn’t seem to be worth it at all, fought to get it on and the attachment “clamps” if you can call them that are sketchy at best
