So my original reason for ordering was to make necklaces. I have a feeling there will be other uses in time. The cord is strong! Thickness is consistent, and it leaves me wondering how they make it. The color is not uniform, but I think it adds to the charm of the leather. Part of me wants to if they use dyes or stains and will it transfer to clothing or skin if it gets wet.I am still new to leather cord and trying to find different ways to tie ends since it is thicker and stiffer than the clear, thin, "fishing line" type material to make necklaces. I find that if I use nail clippers, it gives me a very clean end. It does not fray. It is exciting to add bigger beads and find new ways to incorporate them to now show off the cord as well as the items we display on it.The reel (?) of cord came in a very handy bag with draw strings. The bag is certainly big enough to hold the cord and the majority of your projects! It is also very soft like comfy sheets. Quite the bonus!
