Cables only last me about a year with 3xs a week use fir our church's pastor. He doesn't wind it up after use and it never gets abused. Yet after a year it always manages to get a short. This is my 3rd. I'll keep buying them but may find a thicker one next go round

The Countryman E2 earset mic we use for our pastor started making loud popping sounds randomly. It did not seem to be related body movements or talking, as it would sometimes pop when pastor was standing still and pausing in between parts of his message. I will also mention the Sennheiser body pack and receiver are also new units, less than a year old. I first tried finding a new frequency, but that did not change anything. The popping was still there. I also verified it wasn't a channel on the board or the patch cable between the receiver and the board. The pretty much left the transmitter or the earset/cable. I replaced the cable with this one hoping that would eliminate the problem... and IT DID! Unfortunately, the fix only lasted a month as the popping has now returned. I'm now faced with reordering this cable or finding another one.UPDATE: I am upgrading my review from 2 to 3 stars. I purchased some CAIG DeoxIT GOLD Contact Enhancer here on Amazon and it surprisingly put this cable back in service. I followed the directions and we had no more popping on the mic channel last Sunday. I doubt I’ll give it 4 or 5 stars as I really shouldn’t have to do this on a cable just a month old. But, it’s working again!

Exactly what I needed for my Sennheiser ew 100 G3 (wireless transmitter). This cable snapped into place with my over ear mic, and now my talks are clear as a bell. Great help getting me exactly what I needed. Thanks.

Worked great to replace the factory cable tbat started to short out after 6 years of use at my church. I can tell no quality difference after about 6 months of use. I like it.

This is the original cable that comes with the E6 microphone for the Sennheiser EW wireless bodypack system. Works perfectly!
