- Flat Sponge Pad: remove minor scratches, oxidation, and light stains from the paint surfacesuitable for initial removal of surface defects
- Waffle Sponge Pad: can more effectively adapt to irregular surfaces, it further smoothens thepaint surface, reduces scratches

Will be returning it back opened it new out of the box. added a freshly changed battery went to go use it turns on then once you go to polish it turns off. Not good

The good:Lots of different pads for buffing, polishing, sanding, etc. Anything you need is in this kit so it's very convenient. They even give you a little apron to wear while polishing so you don't get wax splatter on yourself! I liked the kit, bag, and all the accessories.The Bad:The motor on this thing is so very very weak you can stop the thing from spinning just using one finger. Even on the highest power level it stops spinning if you put just the smallest amount of pressure.I would not use this for sanding, or polishing, or anything that requires any amount of force greater than a feather. If you just need to buff off some wax this should be ok. I ended up using this to buff off the excess Rain-X on my windshield because that's about the only thing it's powerful enough to handle.
