You can watch on YouTube or any instruction thing that look easy to do. But it vary hard to do, I think you need experience on cement and also know how to work it in model.

Great tool, the biggest trick is learning how to mix the sand-concrete-water ratio to get a stiff concrete. I used a 3.5:1 sand:Portland cement ratio. The next big learning was that you need to make sure you’re compressing the concrete along the outer edges to create a solid form without holes.

By being so large you get about four feet per bag of concrete. Also if your mix is too dry it cracks and crumbles, get it wet enough to smooth it settles like a cake. Concrete also sticks to it so you need to wash it before it drys. Even if you do everything perfectly it’s a lot of work, I’d try one half this size it would probably settle less.

I got this after watching a zillion YouTube videos of concrete curb methods. Finally pulled the trigger, and did it. I covered up an ugly water pipe in my front yard with a fake rock then wanted to landscape around it.Worked great, took me about 4-5 hours one Saturday. I piled it up about as thick and wide as the trowel, then slid it back and forth over it to define the shape. Added and removed some as needed for a uniform look.1 part portland cement to 4 parts sand. Add water until you get thick cake batter texture. Colored it to match my existing professionally installed curb, I used the integral concrete color from Home Depot. Little jars of powder.I bought a texture roller and release powder, attempted to stamp it with an impression. That did not seem to work for me. It sort of made the whole thing crack (had to reshape the whole area I rolled) so I accepted that I would just have to do it without it the impression.I’m very happy with the results and I did it for a fraction of the cost a pro would charge.

Very sturdy. Works well!! Don't put too much pressure down while laying the concrete. It doesn't need it. Wear gloves.
