I got this to help with laying tile on the floor (DIY style), I have quite a lot of tile to lay so I needed something that will last and be comfortable and easy to clean. It's lightweight so it's less strain to maneuver while reaching across the floor. Yeah, the rivets on the face aren't ideal but this isn't that type of trowel. It does the grunt work and as long as you aren't letting it sit to dry, it just takes a quick scrub with a brush to get the residual material from around the rivets.

Works well, seems like better quality than the low cost option at the big box store. Cleans off easily. Handle feels a bit gritty but well sized.

The 1/3" square notch finishing trowel is a solid, well-built tool for precise tile work. It delivers smooth, even application of adhesive, making your project easier to complete. Although it has rivets on the flat side, I have yet to have problems with it. Comfortable grip and durable construction make it perfect for professional and DIY use alike.
