I knew that this would not be universal, and did not expect a plug and play fit. I was prepared and capable of modifying this harness to fit. What I would have expected, would be some sort of consistency with the harness. It does not match the pictures as other reviews have stated, but on top of that the colors for the wires would not match. There is also no wiring diagram or any sort of color coding that makes sense. For example, the colors going into a connector that is correct would come out the other end a different color. In some cases, a yellow wire with a green stripe would go to a connector with a green wire and yellow stripe. Be prepared to spend quite a bit of time with a multi-meter testing each wire for continuity, and making some educated guesses until it works. The ground wire is much too small on the harness side and melted.CDI worked for about 3 minutes then quit. Currently experiencing coil problems. Wires not matching up. Melting wires. Better off making your own harness.

If your buying this it should mean you understand basic internal combustion engine electronics. If not you might have some issues. I can confirm the kit is fuctional. It is very easy to set up. If you are either willing to learn or already know about ICE electronics youll have no issues. Works just fine.Edit. I used this kit for a ride and lost spark after an hour.

Item did not match photo. Received a 2 coil stator vs a 6 coil stator. Part did not fit my application. Had to splice wires in new harness with old to get it to work.

Upon purchasing this harness kit I always look to the reviews. I read a lot of mixed reviews from, it works perfect to the harness kit is completely useless. I decided to roll the dice and purchase it in hopes my experience would be on the positive end. I received the kit in a timely manner and began to decifer the wires that did not plug and play. Most of these harness kits seem to be universal one size fits all kits. I began my install on my daughter's 2011 Icebear 125cc ATV and everything worked as it should. Now the kit does not come with a wiring diagram unfortunately so deciphering the wire plugs and wires that had no place to go can be tricky. I used Google and looked to reviews on Amazon for tips on where these wires may go or even if they are used at all. Some are for break switches in the rear, or the hand lever brake for the front. All in all the install went fairly quick and easy. Just make sure you check your harness for differences and what can maybe be an issue when installing it.

I was having issues with the wiring. I ordered this harness and a new starter that would work with this harness and she cranked right up. It has all the parts you need, i mean everything. It was a good investment!!
