The steel is not only durable cut capable of surviving great stresses and keeping its form, not go wayward like many other inferior blade. There is a touch of well placed flexibility in the middle where, over time, a slight and legal bend appears and gives help for making wrist and forearm touches.

My daughter’s been fencing for a couple months now and our instructor told us this sword is defective since one of the wires came undone after about a month of training (2x a week), just past the return window and a camp opportunity.
