Had my dad install it for me a auto Upholstery professional ,good to install and good quality but it was made crooked, we had to custom fix it heat it up and stretch it to make it a little better because we did not want to redo the job, or else I would have returned it.

The instructions could have been better for first-timers. When installing a new rain channel (always recommended) the installation utilizing furnished instructions is difficult. I reviewed several YouTube installation videos, which saved the day.

Top went on very easy, in fact too easy as it is a little loose which has caused it to have wind noise in the back on passenger side and be a little crooked. When latching for first time I was able to do by hand, whereas my previous top I installed 20 years ago was a big struggle to latch the first time. My second issue is the window is larger than my last, so the roll bars had to be reversed, so the window could lay flat, which took valuable seat room. You can see in my photo the window comes out all the way to the buttons to cover the top. My last and biggest issue, as others have noted in comments, is the window pulls away as the glue comes apart from the top. You can see my pictures of this and the passenger side is worse. After the glue let loose it appears the stitching is all that is holding the window in.

very good. it fits tight on the frame but i suppose that is just what a new top feels like. a bit of difficulty to install but once it is done it is well worth the work.

Bought this for my 2003 SE Miata, the old top was torn and leaking. I don't have experience working on cars, but was willing to give it a try after being quoted quite a large sum for a shop to do it. It took me a couple of days, probably 14 hours total, without any help, only basic tools were required. When I first installed the top, there were visible stretch marks on one of the sides, as if it hadn't fit quite right. With time (after about a couple weeks) these faded away and the top looks normal. Top will be tight at first and maybe not close, but it stretches once you leave it in the sun and closes just fine. When I open the doors the window glass will catch on the edge of the top - though admittedly this is likely more my fault than a design flaw. It's more of a nuisance than anything else, doors can still open and close normally. Top is a bit difficult to put down due to how the glass window bends with it, but again, this may have to do more with my work than the quality of the product, and is just a nuisance.Top doesn't leak even during heavy storms. I reused my old rain rail, and everything works fine so far. Heated window works great too. Vinyl is easy to wash and clean. I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone considering replacing their soft top, even if you are not particularly mechanically inclined.

I had it hired done ($500 for installation if you were curious) But it looks very nice, makes the whole car look newer. The downside I see is the material seems thin, but like I’ve said, looks very good.

took me 5 plus hours to install but the end result made my 2001 miata look brand new again. its a very tight fit took me almost a whole week to get the top to clip onto the latch. what i did was put something heavy on the top to scretch it out. i use a whole case of costco water to help it scretch. it work and i am very happy with the end result.

I install Miata tops as part of the services I offer to local Miata enthusiasts, and have used all of the major brands. I can say with no hesitation that this top is excellent quality and comparable to any of the higher priced alternatives. Well-packed, great construction quality, fit the frame with no issues, and my customer was thrilled with the finished product and the price! And that price difference is not insignificant; over $100 less than the identical top from another brand through Moss, plus shipping (this had free shipping). I’ll be offering these as my first option to customers going forward.
