Same as the original rocker nuts in my 69 396 just zinc coated and the locking crimp is actually strong enough to keep them from backing off. It’s a comp cams part hard to beat the quality!

they are Zinc Plated (galvanized) not really necessary inside the oiled cylinder head. There were tiny pieces of zinc particles left on the stud threads after installation. Kinda troublesome to clean off so it wouldn't wash into the oil galley

These take 11/16 not 5/8 as stated in the q&a. Wont work on a steel rocker. Wasted my money
