This Commountain multi-unit charger is... well... awesome. The unit I received had all Kenwood cradles (six slots). It charged up multiple Kenwood TH-D75A radios quickly and efficiently! It worked as advertised and was a great charging unit for multiple compatible Kenwood radios. However, I saw that some of the product photos on the listing showed different types of cradle slots installed on this multi-unit charger. I noticed that the cradle slots had a screw in the middle of them, so I unscrewed one of them and pulled it out to discover that they were simple drop-in cradles!I contacted Commountain to see if I could purchase different cradle slots for different radios and discovered they primarily had them for some Motorola and Kenwood radios. I was able to acquire two cradle slots for Motorola APX 8000 radios, and upon receipt, installation of the Motorola cradle slots was as easy as unscrewing and removing the old cradles and dropping in and screwing in the new cradles. The process took all of two minutes. So now, my Commountain multi-unit charger is comprised of two Motorola APX 8000 (and other compatible batteries) slots and four Kenwood TH-D75A/TH-D74A (and other compatible batteries) slots.I am extremely pleased with this charger and the seller/manufacturer, Commountain. The charger itself is very well made and high quality! Customer service from the seller/manufacturer, Commountain, was excellent! I highly recommend this product and the seller/manufacturer. 5 out of 5 stars!

I got this charger for my Kenwood radios, and it’s super helpful. It works with a bunch of models like TH-D74A, NX-320, and TK-3360. It can charge six radios at once, which is perfect for when I need to charge a lot of them quickly. The charger is easy to set up, and I just plug in the radios. It replaces the KSC-256 charger, and I think it’s even better because it saves time. The lights show when each radio is done charging, so I know when they’re ready to go. It’s really sturdy and great for keeping everything organized. If you have a lot of Kenwood radios, this charger is a great tool to have.

This might not be the most exciting or innovative product in the world, but if you use Kenwood Radios--as I do in my business--it's extremely helpful. It's what it says on the tin--you can charge six Kenwood radio batteries in one shot. The unit is very well made, it runs quietly and it has on-board indicator lights to alert you to any issue and let you know when the batteries are fully charged. It's made by a company called commountain. They might not be a 'household name' but I've used a couple of their chargers for other devices and they do a good job. Highly recommended!

The old multi gang charger for our Kenwood radios had started to malfunction with all the use over the years the contacts weren't always getting a full charge to the radios. A full factory replacement is like $600 so this was an enticing option at half the price. It works just like the factory unit and has no problem charging our radios quickly. Would recommend

This more than my expectations! I was very cautious about getting it through to the price, but I think it is worth the money and its performance is great. It’s a very large size and I love the way that it is made. It is amazing for charging and It’s easy to find a spot to put it. 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you are a Ham (Licensed Amateur Radio Operator) and own one or more Kenwood radios and the rechargeable batteries to go with them, this is a mighty handy charger to get all of your radios and extra batteries ready at the same time before an event or general usage. I have a TH-D74A radio and two extra batteries. The radio, even when turned off does draw a small current from the battery, and you can find it nearly dead when you suddenly need to use it. If you have an extra battery, you can keep it charged and rapidly charge the battery in the radio with this unit. I like the fact that this unit gives you some information about the battery and charging process for each compartment. It will let you know if you have a bad battery when the battery reaches 80% or more and when the battery is fully charged. The OEM (factory-supplied) charger will only charge a single battery or radio at a time and does not tell you when the battery reaches 80% (if you are in a hurry). While the unit is expensive, it can handle six devices at the same time and give you completely independent information about each device while charging them. I noticed that the photograph in the product description shows some of the compartments missing battery contacts. The actual unit has five contacts in all six compartments, so any compartment can support all of the radios and batteries listed (both Lithium, NiCd, and LiFePO).

This works really well for us. It's charging as it should, and it hasn't over heated or damaged any batteries. It's a great replacement.
