These are the warmest socks ever. They are thick and durable and fit perfectly. I bought these to wear with my hiking boots and anytime I'm out in the cold and I never have a problem with cold toes. Everyone else is freezing and I'm warm!

These are nice socks. They are thicker than a lot of socks so they should keep my feet warm. They fit me a little larger than I would have liked, but that's not a problem if I'm wearing shoes. It is a problem if I'm running around the house wearing socks with no shoes or sleeping in my socks. They tend to want to slide down and twist around in those situations.

I really like these Columbia hiking socks. They keep my feet warm and dry and keep my feet and ankles from rubbing in my hiking shoes. They stay up and don't fall down. They are made very well and have different colors. I recommend these if you're an avid hiker who doesn't want their feet to rub in hiking shoes.

I'm really pleased with these socks - so much so that I ordered a second set upon receipt of the first!I wear a women's size 6 and these socks fit my feet really well. The heel and toe both line up with my feet and sit comfortably (so often socks are just too long for me and the "heel" portion is up around my ankle - not the case here! The toe seam sits snug against my foot and doesn't ball up inside my boot.The socks are fitted throughout the whole foot without being too tight and "pinching". They're just tight enough to hug the feet and not move around. These socks come up to about mid-calf (5'3") and they stay there - no slouching. These are the PERFECT socks to wear with winter boots for many reasons -1) because they're high enough, no boot rub. 2) They're thick enough to protect against blisters and chafing, but not so thick that they're uncomfortable to fit inside of a boot. 3) They breathe well, too - when my feet sweat they don't slide around like a lot of other socks. The icing on the cake is that they're cute! I love the purple colored stripey socks especially!I definitely recommend these socks for wearing with winter boots - they're really comfortable and functional. Full stars from me.
