Men's Last Tracks Ii Jacket. I have purchased a lot of Columbia brand clothing for my family over the years. It is excellent quality at a price point that is higher than "good enough" and lower than "high end." Items hold up well and wash well without shrinking. I could go on and on. I have some Columbia rain jackets that are 30 years old that I still wear! So it was about time my son got a new winter casual jacket and this one was perfect. He's 6 feet tall, long arms, 32-33 waist, slim build and the medium fit him perfectly. It has everything we need here during Wisconsin winters. A hood (removable for when the temps are a balmy 40), heat reflective interior (think foil-look), adjustable cuffs (keeps the snow out), three exterior zippered pockets, sewn-in vest (uses snaps), interior pocket as well, and adjustable toggle cinch at the bottom of the jacket. Very happy with this jacket. It hangs to just above the crotch area, past the hip. But it does not cover the entire butt like a parka does.

Recently moved to a mountainous state from the sunbelt and needed a good coat for the winter. I think I stuck gold with this one. I grew up in the north where good winter coats meant lack of movement. This is not that kind of coat. It feels very light weight-wise when you put it on, but you can tell it's going to keep you warm. There's a shiny metallic like inside layer that seems like it's pulled directly from the space program. There's an adjustable skirt inside the jacket that will keep it sealed against snow pants (or any other kind of pants) along with an elastic drawstring along the bottom edge of the jacket. The collar is super soft when zipped all the way up and the hood has a small, but useful bill to keep rain out of your face. There are also plenty of pockets available. Definitely recommend this coat.

I own several pieces from Columbia in all sorts of types of items. Fleece, flannels shirts and systems jackets to name a few. This jacket meets my expectations from the brand. It has several little extras like zipper flaps, arm pockets and thermal lining that will be useful as the colder temperatures hit this year. I have inspected every zipper and seam, and all looks good.

Columbia Jackets are tried and true. My family has used them during our northern Minnesota winters for the past 20 years. I started with the little sets for my kids when they were small and continued to get them Columbia ones as they grew. I have one son the skies and one that plays hockey. This jacket will keep you warm for either. It is comfortable and has good quality zippers, clasps, and velcro. The outer shell is strong and won't puncture eaisly like a puffer jacket. I expect that this will last my son several winter seasons now that his size has leveled off. I can say that the columbia winter jackets that we have purchased over the years have lasted through 4 kids (a total of 4 winters) with heavy use. I would expect the same from this jacket because it is very similar quaility. Great purchase.

This is a comfortable, warm and well made jacket, a cut above the regular fare you find on Amazon. Despite the boxy look on the models, it 's actually a trim fit, though there is room to move. You could easily put a fleece vest underneath to really keep warm. It has a heat retaining inside lining that looks like something Liberace might wear but actually serves to add another layer of warmth. The zipper is solid but I could have done without the added velcro on the front. You wont notice it on anything but the tan version, and only when it's unzipped. But's it's kind of funky to see all those velcro strips. It could also do with a secure inside pocket. For a jacket that's as zip and snap happy as this one, it surprises me. But the good news is, there is an outside breast pocket that zips and can handily fit a large cell phone. There's even a smaller zip pocket on the sleeve. This is a solidly made, cozy jacket that doesn't weigh you down. Recommended.

Good fit, comfy, size is good though don't go for Amazon's recommended sized based on your past purchases. Just use the chart for this item.

I really like the melange texture version. The texture, both physical and visual, feel much better than the light satin woven options. The melange does hold snow more so keep that in mind. I consider Columbia the bottom of the premium tier, which is very very nice and nicer than anything you are going to find in any brand store. I was surprised a bit by how lightweight the jacket is. I have some older burtons that weigh a ton compared to this. Excited to trail on the slopes this season. I'll report back with any surprises.
