I tried on a friend’s large and it fit perfectly. This was available in Blue, but was $100 more than black. When the black came it was too tight. I went to a retail store and got the Blue for the same price (not a $100 extra) and it fit perfectly. I think the retailer was selling seconds through Amazon.

So far this jacket has performed as expected and keeps me nice and warm, even down into the 30s so far in my area. My only regret is I wish that the hood was still removable like earlier versions of this jacket were.

I tried this on when it arrived and it is VERY warm. Granted, I was indoors, in Aug/Sep in a/c. However, I've been a cold weather person all my life and I think it'll do VERY well in the cold. That liner is so dense. That's the difference maker. For a warm, winter jacket, I definitely recommend.Style is simple, but clearly, it's a long established, well-trusted brand and I've had several Columbia coats in the past. I've never been disappointed with them. I definitely recommend.

The jacket is very versatile with a removable liner. It can go from mild fall to pretty wintery weather. I'm not sure if it's fit for the ski slopes but I'm going to give it a try. I'm not sure how it handles moisture yet. But it's got vents and it is really well made.
