I love Columbia products.I got this to replace my daughter's other Columbia fleece that's she's almost grown out of. Her other fleece didn't have a hood and she really wanted one with a hood.I gave this only 4 stars due to the pockets. I guess I assumed this would have zipper pockets like the one without the hood. I always prefer zipper pockets on jackets and coats.

Second year in a row buying a Columbia jacket of this style for my daughter. I got her a size S even though she’s 7-1/2 and usually wears a M. It runs big but likely for layering which we don’t need to do in California. The jacket is roomier in the torso area which is nice and comfortable for my daughter who is not stick thin. My recommendation is to size down if you’re in-between sizes. Will buy again next year
