This item fit my 1904 McClellan very well. It came with all the appropriate hardware. I did stain it to match the rest of the wood (took stain just fine). I also easily added a brass bridal hanger to the front of it with absolutely no issues.This item is short, so make sure you are ordering it for a saddle that it's intended for. (IE be sure to READ THE DESCRIPTION!)I know you can't see much in the photo, but that's what I wanted...

We are able to place our saddle on it and then take it off so it isn’t in the way when not in use.Super simple design & so effective.
