Heat Shield Air Intake Kit
Is designed to substance from absorbing excessive heat from outside source. Due to the large amounts of heat given off by internal combustion engines, heat shields are used on most engines to protect components and bodywork from heat damage.
Dry Air Filter
Most new design are now dry filter instead of oil filter. Our filter do not require oil, it is reusable and washable. You can wash it with soap and water, rinse it until it is all dry up and use it again. We recommend you to check every 5,000 miles to see if it needs to be wash / clean.

Increases when engine absorbs cold air by passing through aluminum pipe to extract the heat to improves throttle response & more horsepower.

Installation
Heat shield intakes are very easy to install on your vehicle. A typical intake installation can be done with a screwdriver, pliers and a ratchet-set within 90 minutes or less. But of course if you are not sure of how to DIY, we do recommend that you take it to a professional to install.

This cold air intake kit is a great product for the money and before you read all the other reviews about people whining just know that it’s a cheap do it yourself kit that you do have to splice into the mass airflow sensor harness to extend the harness to the sensor and it is by no means hacking itAt the end of the day it’s going on a bare minimum of a 24 year old truck so perfect shouldn’t be your complaint on a cheap intake kit

This was a complete waste of time and money not one part of the cold a air intake system fit my 96 Chevy 2500 5.7 . I took a chance and I learn my lesson I will stay With K & N it is more expensive but you’ll know that it will fit
