Shipping was quick, item was packaged nicely with all required hardware minus instructions.upon inspection of clamps one seamed to be seized/pore threads.i tryed to free it up and ended up breaking the spot welds on the clamp. Luckily I have extras of my own but not the same design. The intake it self performs as expected and above 3500rpm sounds like an angry elephant according to my 7year old son. Iād recommend this product. Note to self keep a supply of extra gear clamps.

I purchased this kit mainly for the intake tube because I was hoping I might be able to connect it to the stock airbox since it is a true cold air intake that pulls air from 100% outside of the engine compartment. Unfortunately that didn't work out but having monitored my intake temps for several hundred miles in stock form and finding they were generally 5 degrees above ambient with the stock intake while driving down the road I decided to install the whole kit to see if this is any better. Once you figure out which holes to use in the fender well and what the Z bracket is for its a pretty straightforward install. In the attached pics I have shown where the 3 rubber mounts go and where the Z bracket goes. If your truck has has seen any salt like mine has you may need to chase the threads in the holes with some penetrating oil and a tap or you could try carefully running a bolt in to clean up the threads instead. I put a bit of anti-sieze on the threaded portion of the three rubber mounts to facilitate future removal and on the hardware that attaches the heat shield to those mounts. One other thing worth noting is the rubber hose couplers and band clamps this comes with are pretty low quality. If I decide to leave the kit installed I will replace them with better quality, thicker silicone ones which generally include better clamps. Once I have had a chance to put some miles on this I'll update this with info on actual intake temperature changes.

Fit like a glove, though NO instructions included. Just go to K&N site for instructions to install!

Fits well with few minor adjustments givers the truck a totally different sound.
